- Opening ceremony for the Swire Research Station, when a cultural group is dancing on a platform floating in a pool of the Gateway Hotel in Port Moresby, under the image of the Wanang conservation leader Filip Damen projected on the screen.
- Celebrating opening of the station with its sponsor, Swire, at the Gateway Hotel in Port Moresby (Wanang village leader Filip Damen speaking, other Wanang landowners in the back).
