About the Programme
EU-FCCB Master’s Programme
EU-FCCB Master's Scholarship Programme
The EU‑funded Forestry, Climate Change, and Biodiversity (EU‑FCCB) Master’s Scholarship Program, implemented by Expertise France and managed by the New Guinea Binatang Research Center, supports postgraduate education and research in Papua New Guinea.
By providing scholarships, research grants, and fostering collaboration across universities, government agencies, NGOs, communities, and international networks, the programme strengthens national capacity for evidence‑based environmental management. With a focus on sustainability, inclusivity, and gender‑responsive growth, it empowers students and researchers in fields such as ecology, biodiversity, forestry, agriculture, climate change, environmental economics, and health sciences—building knowledge and skills to promote green jobs and safeguard PNG’s future.
